Stellar team heading to Microsoft conference in US

The Capitol building in Washington DC

The annual gathering of Microsoft partners from around the globe has a new name this year. The Microsoft World Partners Conference is now Microsoft Inspire.

Inspire runs 9-13 July and the venue this year is Washington DC.

Three senior people from Stellar will be attending: Consulting Partner Travis Barker, General Manager Nicholas Glanfield and Chief Technology Officer Chris du Toit.

Travis and Chris are veterans of previous WPC events, but Nicholas will be attending for the first time.

“It’s all new and exciting for me,” he says. “What I am looking to get out of the event includes:

  • An update on Microsoft visualisation (PowerBI) and AI and/further advanced analytics tools such as Microsoft Cognitive Services, ‘BoT’ platform and the Microsoft Deep Learning platform.
  • Executive networking.
  • Wider strategy, i.e. how the Microsoft reporting/visualisation solutions fit into the future strategy.
  • Customer case studies and success stories – where are the sweet spots, and where could we leverage those here in NZ?”

Stellar is a Microsoft Gold Partner in Data Analytics and a Silver Partner in Data Platform. Earlier this year, Stellar was honoured with the Technology for Good award from Microsoft New Zealand.
